So I thought that having a girl meant that you didn't get hit during diaper changes...wrong. I was feeding Calla last night when I heard the roar of the diaper. I didn't want her cute outfit to get dirty so I stopped feeding her and quickly tried to get her clothes off. I laid her on the couch next to me and started changing her. I was just about to wipe her when she decided that she wasn't finished pooping. It was a direct hit. Yellow poop splattered all over my chest (I was in the middle of feeding), my pants, and the couch. She must have some strong pooping muscles because her poop traveled over 2 feet! I couldn't help myself from laughing hysterically. I was topless with poop all over me. I love being a mom! So after getting her cleaned up I gave her to Curtis to put some pjs on her while I changed my clothes. He was gone for quite some time and I could hear Calla crying. Finally he came downstairs with frustrated look on his face holding a half dressed baby. "Could you please help me put these pjs on. I can't get the snaps to meet up. We need to get her some new pjs, I can't get any of them on her!" This is what she looked like:

I looked at her and started laughing. It turns out he was putting her pjs on backwards! No wonder he was having a difficult time! Oh the joys of being new parents!

Been there with too. I have gotten peed on, pooped on, barfed on, had a kid wipe their snot on me, pretty much every bodily fluid. Yep, being parent is a great experience.
