The Callamander

So my Dad has a tradition of giving all the grandkids nicknames based on their personalities and looks. Some of the names so far are butterfly, bug, bee, and mosquito. He hasn't met Calla yet but called me yesterday to announce that he already has her name figured out...Callamander. It is actually a perfect fit. She has a long pointed tongue that she loves sticking out and she is a master of slithering. No matter how tight I bundle her up, she is always able to escape. This is how she looked this morning when I woke up. She had moved all the way down her wedge. The triangles are supposed to surround her body, not her head.

love the name. I can't wait to meet the Callamander. mom likes calling Reeseys Poppy...I love it. It is better than mosquito even though I love tulip as well! I will nominate a new name for Reese though, it is Seagull, she eats everyones food.
