Road Trip! Cyd, Mike, and I packed the van full of girls (minus Avery and Ashtyn who flew) and drove 11 hours to Portland. We made a pit stop in Twin Falls to visit Showshone Falls and arrived just in time to celebrate my Dad's 60th birthday. We spent the remaining two weeks in Portland mainly playing with cousins by the pool, with all 9 grandkids present. Other highlights; Olympics, adult dinner to Andinas, Multnomah Falls hike, Children's Museum, Nike and Columbia shopping, sleepover in the barn, Manny Logan and the people's elbow, terrarium making, park workouts, apple/blackberry picking, The best part of the trip was Parker's return from Slovakia! The entire family minus Tanner were there to celebrate his arrival. We are so proud of him! Portland is an amazing place to visit in the summer, we can't wait for next year.
