Calla had her spring dance recital. She'd been looking forward to it for months. A few weeks before I asked her if she needed to practice her dance but she told me, "Mom I already know it, I don't need to practice." She was true to her word and didn't miss a step. She was the happiest I've ever seen her up on the stage. She had quite the fan club with both grandmas, aunts, great aunts, cousins, and my friend Kim in attendance. She is already inviting people to come watch her Christmas recital and is distraught that she doesn't get to go to dance class during the summer. Luckily Curtis sings her banana smoothie song nonstop so she has plenty of opportunities to dance!
