One of the highlights of our San Diego trip was strawberry picking in Carlsbad. Logan came down with his darling girlfriend Jessi to meet us. We ate breakfast at Pipes and then went to work. Calla was very meticulous about each strawberry she picked but Ashtyn could care less and ate as many as she could. She wasn't quite strong enough to pull the berries off the stem so she picked them off piece by piece. There was no hiding the evidence, I knew exactly where she had been eating. My spring is not complete without picking strawberries.
