Ashtyn is 1!

Where has my baby gone? In anticipation of her birthday Ashtyn has grown up way too much in the past few weeks! We celebrated her birthday doing some of her favorite things, swinging and going to the splash park. She is sweet/crazy girl that keeps us laughing all day long. She is a Momma's girl which I secretly love. She puts everything in her mouth and always has one finger in her mouth playing with her teeth. She is not walking yet but that doesn't stop her from climbing! Today she climbed on top of one of the kid table chairs and then climbed onto the kids table and was standing up! Luckily, she is good at climbing down too! She loves birds and dogs and grunts and points whenever they come near. For awhile she was the messiest eater ever because she would chew her food and then spit it out when she was ready for the next bite. Lately, she has become quite the eater and eats more than Calla. Her favorite foods are watermelon, popsicles, blueberries, peas, and noodles. She loves her silk blanket and pacifier! She is quite the musician and has already mastered the kazoo, recorder, straw and flute. Basically she loves anything that she can put in her mouth and blow into! She loves to wrestle and will immediately come after you if you are sitting on the ground. She is a big fan of her older sister and always wants to do whatever Calla is doing. She is one cute baby with her big blue eyes and blonde crazy hair. People stop us everywhere we go to tell me how cute of a baby she is and I agree! Ashtyn I love you and am so lucky to be your mom!
