For weeks Calla has been informing everyone that she is not 2 years old, but is "almost 3". Well she is officially 3 now! We celebrated by spending the day at the zoo with cousins, aunts, and grandmas! The highlight of the zoo was the baby elephant and of course the train and carousel. She loves her Dora bike, dress up clothes, and glass slippers!
A few things about Calla:
- She is either really happy and fun or really grumpy and whiny. There is no in between with our Calla girl.
- Her favorite color is purple; food is chicken fingers, fries, and fruit; animal is a deer
- She loves dancing, Dora, dressing up, coloring, playing outside, puzzles, her Daddy, wrestling
- She likes her "nook" (milk) warm
- She can't say the letter "L" so Calla sounds like Calda.
- She is very thoughtful and asks things like "How was work Daddy?", "How was your run Momma?", "Thank you for dinner Mom"
- She talks about getting married to "D" (Derek Sorensen) in the temple in a purple dress and then having a baby every single day
- She loves "Movie night"- watching Bambi and eating popcorn and orange carrot cookies
- She is so smart- she knows all of her letters and can name something that starts with each one, she can count to 30, she can write her name, and she loves to ask questions, WHY?
- Swiper the fox was her imaginary friend for a few months but I haven't "seen" him in awhile
