Our friends Sheralyn and Travis were crazy enough to join us for the mud run this year. It is Curtis favorite day of the year. He wasn't able to do the mud run last fall because his back was injured so he was especially excited about this one. They changed the course and it was much more challenging this time than the last. The mud was also different, instead of red clay it was black, thick, manure smelling variety this time! Even though I've showered twice I still think I smell! Our team did really well and we never got passed. We ended up passing tons of other teams that started much earlier than us. The only downside of the race was Curtis' sprained ankle that he suffered just prior to our last obstacle. Luckily he toughed it out and we finished strong. We were #12 out of 488 in the coed division and #85 out of 1079 overall.
