I love the month of December with all of the pre-Christmas excitement. This year was especially fun since Calla has figured out what Christmas is all about. A few of my memories from this season:
- Calla is in love with deer, especially "Dudolph" aka Rudolph
- She loves "Jingle Bells" and can sing the entire song by herself
- Whenever we asked Calla what she wanted Santa to bring her for Christmas it was always the same response, "a blue balloon"
- She loves her nativity set and makes sure baby Jesus is well taken care of with food, blankets, etc
- She likes Santa from afar but when it came to sitting on his lap she wanted nothing to do with it! By the end of the season she finally got up the courage to sit on the arm of the big couch with Santa only because all of her cousins were doing it
