Asheville

My parents came into town for a conference at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville so we tagged along! I've been dying to go there ever since we have been in NC. They have one of the top rated spas in the country and the inn, built in 1913, is so charming. While in Asheville we hiked to Chimney Rock, drove on the Blue Ridge Parkway, explored the town, and spent a day at the spa. The spa lived up to my expectations and I spent almost the entire day there and I didn't even have a treatment. My Mom and Curtis traded off watching the kids while I lounged in silence! It was an awesome getaway and I'll definitely be going there again. Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us crash your party!

My Mom and Dad wanted an extra workout (or Curtis and I are kind of gimpy) so they carried the girls up the endless steps to the top

Looks like you had a great time. I'm trying to plan a girl's trip up to the mountains- you should come!

Also, I don't think I would call you and Curtis gimpy- have you read your own blog?
