Curtis wasn't too excited about having a birthday but Calla was. The day before his birthday she kept telling people it was "Daddy's birthday tomorrow!" Immediately after waking up she remembered it was his birthday and wanted to open presents and eat cake. We spent the afternoon at the pool and ate sushi to celebrate. Unfortunately, Curtis didn't get the presents on his wish list, a new baby and a healed back, but it was a fun day. Calla and I are grateful to have him in our lives!
