2 Years Old!

Calla balla turned two today! I can't believe how quickly she is growing up. She had quite the exciting day. First, a trip to Discovery Place with a few of friends, then onto Rolly Pollies with Curtis and I, followed by pizza and cupcakes. She was very into her birthday and sang Happy Birthday to herself and everyone we know all day long.

A few of my favorite things about Calla at two:

-She is full of personality and is a little chatterbox. She is a drama queen and can go from hysterically crying to laughing within seconds!

-She has an amazing memory and is very observant.

-She is quite the smarty pants and knows all of her ABC's from playing with silly bands. She loves to read books and has several memorized. Her favorites are the "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" series.

-She has become very independent and thinks she can do everything by herself. She insists on picking her bowl, spoon, cereal, etc. I keep reminding myself that this will be a good quality later on in life!

-She loves to snuggle and gives me kisses out of the blue.

-She is still obsessed with Baby Signing time and loves to sing the songs, especially "New Day".

-She can be found jumping and dancing around the house all day long.

-She loves babies and can't wait for her new sister "Nook" to arrive. Every time we ask her what she wants to name the new baby she says "Nook" which is how she pronounces milk! She thinks my "outie" belly button is actually the baby and pulls up my shirt several times a day to check on the baby.
