Last week was a big week in our house...Calla is pacifier free! For a few days we talked about giving the pacifier to baby Esther in exchange for a present. Everyday Calla would tell me "in a couple days I give pacifier to baby". The big day came and she was so excited. She handed it over and Esther gave her a box of ABC silly bands. She has done great without it and tells me everyday how she gave her pacifier to the baby for a present. She has decided that she needs a few companions with her since her pacifier is gone. She now insists that Jumpy (a stuffed sheep that is attached to a spring), Bug (a wooden catepillar pull along), and Purple snake go to bed with her. So much for teddy bears...why would you want to snuggle with a teddy bear when you can snuggle with a wooden toy? I love my crazy Calla Balla!
