It seems like all we have been doing lately is having fun visitors or visiting fun places! We spent 4 days last week in Charleston while I attended a Cardiology conference. The conference was only half-day so I got to play the rest of the day. We stayed just outside of Charleston at the Wild Dunes resort to take advantage of the beach. It is definitely one of our favorite places to visit with the beautiful beaches, biking trails, and close proximity to Charleston. We ate some yummy seafood and relaxed at the pool/beach. Daily bike rides to see the alligator (pronunced Al-ye-ga-der) and rides in the elevator (pronunced El-ye-va-der) were Calla's highlights. She loved the warm water and spent her entire time on the beach jumping in the waves. We'll be home for a few weeks (weird) but then will head to Portland for our last trip before the new arrival.

This southern gal loves her boiled peanuts! No trip to Charleston is complete without a visit to the Wreck for some fried shrimp and hushpuppies!
