Pet Da Neigh

On our first day in Utah we went to see the two horses that live close to Cyd's house. Calla really likes the idea of petting horses but she is terrified with the actual act of petting them. We took them apples and carrots to eat. The rest of the trip she could not stop talking about the "neighs". Calla can say the names and sounds of tons of animals but for some reason she will not say the word horse. She shouted the words, "Mommy pet da neigh nose"/"Feed neigh apples"/"Pet da neigh!" over and over again. Finally, on the last day I took her hand and forced her to actually pet the neigh. Since we've been home she keeps saying "I pet da neigh nose" all the time, especially when she wakes up from her naps. She must be dreaming about the neighs in her sleep! Calla misses you Cocoa and Brownie!
