We spent a great Thanksgiving with our friends the Woolleys, Sorensens, and Slaughters. In the morning the girls ran our own 5K Turkey trot and the guys played football. Curtis went hunting a few weeks ago and shot a turkey, named Luther, that we ate for dinner. He actually shot two turkeys with one shot but he sent the other home with his dad. It was much smaller than I expected but I guess it isn't pumped full of hormones like the others. It turned out to be very tasty! We had a delicious dinner with over 15 pies to choose from! We finished the night playing speed Rumikub and cards. I'm thankful for awesome friends!
