Mud Run 2009

Go Frog Fighters! This year was our 3rd time doing the Mud Run and it gets better every time. It is one of our favorite days of the entire year. You just can't top the chance to play in the mud! We did the 4.2 mile race with our friends Kurt and Chestin. We finished #203 out of #1600 teams. Not too shabby! The biggest accomplishment was that we all finished without injury! We saw lots of others who didn't fare so well who were taken away in ambulances. Someone actually had to be airlifted, yikes! The MVP award definitely goes to my awesome friend Heather (Kurt's wife) who watched Calla for me along with her 5 kids! She has watched Calla for me during several races and bike rides. Thank you Heather. After several showers I'm still cleaning mud out of my ears but luckily I've finally gotten rid of the mud taste in my mouth. I can't wait for next year!
Before- Me, Curtis, Kurt, Chestin
After (minus Chestin)
Pre-Shower Hair
Calla thought the dirt was fun too!
Heather a.k.a-The Bag Lady- what a trooper!
Calla and Catelyn- everyone thought they were twins.
Nice Goatee!
