Our weekend of fun started Friday night at the symphony in the park. We listened to patriotic songs and watched fireworks. Calla was
mesmerized by the bright lights and didn't even cry. We played tennis on Saturday morning and then headed to the pool for our
neighborhood party. Our highlight of the day was supposed to be the Davidson parade.
Unfortunately, it only consisted of one fire truck followed by kids on bikes. The entire parade lasted about 3 minutes! I guess we had too high of
expectations since our last parade was in Fillmore, UT! It is the best place on earth to spend the 4
th. After the parade we enjoyed some snow cones and yummy ribs and then headed to the lake for some
wiffle ball and fireworks. If only every weekend was the 4
th of July!

I wonder who she gets her nose scrunching and eye squinting from?
Calla is in love with dogs. She goes crazy every time we see one and yells her version of Doggie!
Luckily our neighbor has 3 dogs for her to play with so we don't have to get one.

Such a fun weekend for your family. You accomplish so much in One day. Amazing Can't believe that Calla could get any cuter, but she has. I will be glad to see her the end of this month.

I guess having lived in UT we take for granted the amazing parades! I really missed all that this year. Calla looked darling sporting her 4th outfit.
