Calla is officially a rug rat now and is into everything! She is a quick little crawler and loves to play in the pantry. She is hilarious in the bathtub. She is fascinated with the chrome drain cover and uses it as a mirror to look at me. She is an excellent vacuum cleaner and manages to find every piece of lint or crumb that the real vacuum doesn't pick up. She is not too sure of grass yet. When I attempt to sit her down in the grass she points her toes and raises her arms up to try and avoid touching it. I have found the grass to be a great babysitter, she refuses to move once she is sitting in it! She loves feeling different textures and always has her hands in pinching mode with her thumb and index finger touching. She has ticklish feet and a laugh that will crack you up. I love my Calla girl!

I turned around in the store today and Carter had his face about a 1/4 inch from a big chrome bowl this lady was buying (I think is was like the fun house mirrors). I was a little embarassed, but luckily she did not seem to mind. Aren't kids great?
Nine months is one of my favorite ages. Calla is just adorable. Enjoy.
So cute. Hope her next trick is to say "Utah", or "aunt Cyd", both divine messages that we need to be closer to you guys. We are missing her...oh, and you too!
